I for one am still very grateful u guys do what you can do and if it means i gotta download from a slow server or whatnot, that's fine so far, I really haven't had slow slow servers, but even if i did you'd never hear me whinin or bitchin about it. While I am inclined to agree with the people insulting you I don't think it helps you to understand the nature of the beast. I used to be more active in the encoding scene before I moved around so much that I wasn't able to get more than half a season or even sometimes more than 4 episodes done. But I still have my ground to speak on regardless.

You are frustrated because you are part of the group that enjoys smaller lower quality encodes and you are annoyed you can't find the anime you want in the size you want and hosted on the places you want it hosted. That is perfectly fine and you are welcome to be annoyed by that but you can not make demands. That is like demanding a charity has to start doing things your way simply because you desire it.

Resolution does not effect file size, so a 720p video file can be smaller than a 480p. Your biggest factor when encoding and dealing with size is bitrate. Simply, it is what helps your video play smoothly without jerking or lag. So a few extra MB for a video that will play smoothly and not be so pixelated that it looks like a paint by numbers sheet, is worth it to most.

If you truly feel that space is an issue you could always stream your anime. There are many sites that deal exclusively with streaming and it will save you a lot of space and time. When streaming the video does have to upload to your net in order to play back but you can watch it as it works this process which means you don't have to wait for a finished download. Your MB is still there, and you didn't have to deal with any of those pesky hosts you dislike.

I get the feeling you are rather young and the people who are cussing at you are infuriated at you which is why they are using such harsh words. Keep in mind when you start talking against a large group of people on the net.. there will always be those who lash out at you.

first sakuya u must understand that WE LARGE GROUP OF PEOPLE are not lashing out at them for being young or even naive, it's because they along with many others both past and present have this so called-infallible sense of entitlement and feel they can make demands or bitch about getting free stuff [plain and simple] and though, I do see where you are coming from. it is disheartening. to see you try and understand them and I can almost guarantee that they care not about what u wrote and you will probably see more posts of them whining later.

It's these people that I RESENT because many good encoders felt the harassment and pressure from them and therefore dropped out of the game plus these whiners also see the uploaders as their b*****, they don't take into consideration what the sitch for the uploader is whether it be physical or virtual No! all they want is what they want they're selfish and incredulous users that think of nobody but themselves.

And you of all people, being a former encoder should truly understand why we are being harsh not because we enjoy it or because we were attacked or whatever, but because this never ends and this is a peaceful community for the most part and when these types come along that tends to ruin and upset many users because most of us are thankful for what is provided but THEY ARE NOT!!!!

Yeah it sucks not getting the size you want or having to spend all day downing files. But he or she who gets his or her shit for free has no room to piss,bitch or moan about the quality of the file or file sharing site being used. As my grandma used to say "Beggars can't be choosers".

You should realize that many of these people took time out of their busy day to convert and upload these files just so they can share with you.Many of them even spent money on the original DVDs and Blurays so that they can have something to convert.Many of these people have even reuploaded their files numerous times because they get taken down due to inactivity or because of someone snitched. And many of them even have paid memberships to sites so that the files do not get taken down due to inactivity. And almost of these people facing potential legal trouble by sharing these files just so they can share files with you.The least you could do is say thank you and just put up with the file hosting sites you don't like and the video sizes you don't like. You could also do what some people do which is patiently wait for someone else to upload those files to another file hosting site and thank those people. Bitching about the quality and file hosts used just makes you look like a ungrateful fuck who thinks he or she is entitled to everything.

I convert the files I download.Its not hard to use alltoavi,handbrake or formatfactory and have it convert files overnight to a format I want.

There are legitimate reasons to complain about a file hosting site. Like if its a paid membership only link or it only allows a certain number of free users download from and then it starts becoming a paid membership only link. There are also legitimate reasons to complain about the quality.For example the audio is out of sync, no picture or no sound.

I agree that it is up to the uploaders to do what they want and they owe nobody anything as it is their choice.
Since many series has been put up for anyone on this site to be able to get FREE then those who moan are just taking the piss and being ungrateful. All i can say is that all those who have made it easy to get new anime i was after should get RESPECT!

They do get respect-BUT THEY SHOULD MULTI Their uploads so that way people have other ways to download the file if one file-locker sucks or two
