Back again. Just saw chocolate on tv. It is a Thai martial arts film about an autistic girl
who fights to get back the money owed to her mother who is ill with cancer. Directed by
the same guy who did Ong Bak. It was a good fight film. Just found out they are doing a sequal in 3D. :surprise:

John Carter. BDRip from "Kingdom". Movie for kids. As much I liked special effects (10/10), I couldn't stand story (3/10). It seemed so... childish. Can't say for sure why. The begging was intriguing, but when the story progressed it became boring. And characters... Main was not bad, but that lady (Lynn Collins)... was not my type. To rough... or something like that. Some settings from movie kinda reminded me of "Avatar" (though that one was masterpiece). So it felt awkward watching this one. Like watching something that tried to copy your favorite movie, but screwed along the way. Either way, I can only give it 4/10 at best. Big plus for special effects, big minus for story. Well, idea maybe isn't bad, but execution of it wasn't as I hoped it to be.

 Quite don't get it... Whatever...

"Big Miracle". 2/10. Not my type. Story... lame. Idea maybe isn't bad (kinda heart warming), but how it was showed I didn't like it from the start. Maybe the development, maybe the script, but it really didn't grab my attention. Actors: as I liked Drew Barrymore in "50 First Dates " I couldn't stand her in "Big Miracle". Can't say why though. And main one. So... dull. Just not the right one. Well, at least story ended well.

P.S. Russians came to save a day (in American movie!!) :surprise: . Something new. That was unexpected.

I recently saw Prometheus. Found it to be sorta freaky (probably just me), but I found it good enough to watch.

Watched:
Wanderlust - Didn`t like it but it had a couple of funny bits in it.
Wrath of the Titans - Good film, liked it alot.
Safe - Standard Jason Statham movie with 1 exception in my opinion: His fighting is superior in this movie than all his others.
Safe House - Bored me after 20 mins.

Just saw Men who hate women or to give it it's english title The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.
The movie plot i found interesting as you want to see how it turns out and it was well made with a tense feel all the way through.
I heard the book is even better and hope they show the next two films soon as well as the remake that is actualy good for a change.

Snow Cake 7/10 was a strange film but it had Alan Rickman so wasn't all that bad, however if I hadn't have watched this movie with my girlfriend I would have found it terrible.

"Wrath of the Titans" (aka Clash of the Titans 2). Good movie. Story so so (not like I was watching it because of it), actors - did they job pretty well, SPECIAL EFFECTS - 10/10 (reason why I was watching it). Both (Clash of the Titans, Wrath of the Titans) movies were equally good enough to watch and enjoy. Both of them had so so story (not very good; but not like I cared much about it), both of them had wonderful special effects. SP was really only reason why I decided to watch them in first place and by doing so I wasn't disappointed. The met my expectations.Though second one were with more pleasant visuals. I just love that all that CG stuff in movies. So my rating would be something like 8/10.

I just  computer generated monsters!

I saw the first 30 minutes or so of Brave. Since I didn't see the whole thing, I can't really give a full review, but from what I did see, I'll just say this: Shire horses weigh about 2 tons. They are not sprinters or jumpers. Also, the way Merida didn't bother to untack and rub/cool it down until after she had her dinner was likely to make it sick.

Yes, I know I'm being nitpicky, but whatever. I just like horses a lot, so I noticed these things. Especially since it seemed like they were trying to make this horse slightly more realistic than most other Disney animals.
