But that's just it, a tiny bit...unlike the cartoon/anime section, which is booming with stuff everyday, which is what the mass majority of the people go to.

Because you haven't read the rules, for one your post count isn't up to 25 yet.

I think the main issue why the hentai section is not as active compared to the cartoon/anime one is because the hentai section has requirements which is stopping a lot of people from actually uploading stuff from there. If that section was more open to members without having such a requirement then more people would be uploading from there. That section will never be as active as the cartoon/hentai section but it would be more active then it is now which means that they will be more people contributing to that forum.

Since the requirement requires people to wait until they reach 25+ posts, I have to wait until I reach such an amount before I can even gain access to the forum and to upload my own collection that I have to offer. There are people out there who just wants to spread their links to other forums without having to wait for such a requirement before they can actually do so. Also about that "18 years old or older" requirement, anyone could easily BS their age and claim that they are 18 years old and still gain access to the forums once they reach 25+ posts. You might as well just let every member gain access to it like most other sites does since the webmaster knows that people are still going to find ways to gain access to it anyway.

One last thing, about the "not contributing anything within a one week period", what would happen if during that one week period someone's Internet shuts down or something comes up during that week that slows someone down to encode a series and to upload it someone. I think it would be much safer to increase it to two weeks instead of one week so that way, there is absolutely no excuse as to why that person has not upload anything during that time period and that "waiting a month rule" would sound more balanced and reasonable. I feel that if people only had a week to upload something but they can not because of some issue, then they might be forced to use someone else's upload link and claim that they have permission to do so just for them to still have access to this forum.

So yeah, just wanted to throw out my thoughts. I really do not care if you do not listen to me because 95% of the time, most moderators/staff members do not even bother because I am not a known member of this site so normally, my opinions do not matter anyway.

So what you're saying is tear down the requirements and abolish the closed group (well, actually I made it to an open request group weeks back), so we have a better chance of getting some contributors?

Apparently you were not listening. I am saying that there should be changes to some of the rules. Abolishing the rules all together would not be a smart move. Rule #1 and #2 can stay as it is (although I would prefer Rule #2 to be extended to two weeks instead of one week so that it would balance out that "waiting a month before being able to ask again" part of the rule). I hope that "balancing part" of it did not confuse you but in case it did, let me explain it to you.

At the moment, the rules says that if you do not contribute something within a week, you will lose access to the hentai forum and will have to wait a month before they could ask for access again. Instead of having them wait a month just because they did not upload something in a week, why not have them wait a month if they did not upload anything for two weeks? See how it is now more balanced? Another thing you could do to balance it out is to make people wait two weeks if they did not upload something within a week. That way it seems more reasonable and balanced.

Rule #3: I guess that is fine although I do not see why people can just post on this thread asking if they want to join the hentai group or not. I guess you have you own reasons for this (most likely because of the fact that it makes it easier for you to see who wants to join the group or not. Either that or to prevent cluster in this thread.)

Rule #4: I think this rule is completely pointless. Why is it that you can download regular anime series without a post count but you required to get 25 posts just to join the hentai section? If this section requires 25 posts to join/download then the regular download section should also have a required post count of 25 but it does not so how is that fair? (Now I can see why the download section is a lot more active then the hentai section although since they are more regular series then hentai ones, the hentai section will never be as active however it could be MORE active as it is now if the rules were adjusted a bit.) It probably would not be by much but having "some" more contributors is better then having a "few" or "no" more contributors.

PS: I should probably mention that I am not mad at you or anything, I just so happen to find some of these rules kind of lame and thought I would post my thoughts and suggestions about them. When it comes down to it, you are the boss of this forum so really you can take what I have said or choose to ignore it and leave everything as it is.
