great work, though handbrakes hardcoder for .ass tends to suck as it won't hardcode .ass animations like in OP ED of anime and it sometimes misses lines of dialogue out completely. Usually where there are more than 2 things going on it gets confused (like a sign being displayed and dialogue being displayed at the same time it sometimes skips one of the lines or displays them on top of each other). Is there any way to work textsub into this instead? I have found textsub to be perfect for styled hardcoding with .ass. It's a long shot, just though i would ask is all.

keep up the good work.

@steveyk

textsub is for avisynth and avisynth is not included in handbrake since avisynth is only for windows os while handbrake targets not only windows os but also mac os and linux os so handbrake is cross platform

and the problem with the animation effects during hardsub will be fix soon
read this entire thread for more details -> https://forum.handbrake.fr/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=22866

thanks for the reply and the info, I didn't see this when I googled around so it's nice to know that they are addressing the overlapping issue and the animation issues. I'll look out for future versions then.

Looks useful and a bit like vidcoder (which I love). I will check it out.

Decent program, it just doesn't have enough options for me.
