its out a lot if you notice it, first out i think on the sky island arc when robin read the words of gold d roger on the poneglyph..then it make a bigger scene when whitebeard remembering it when roger talked to it with him..can anyone help me figure it out?

I'd say it's like the will of the world, or will of fate... kind like those with the initial D are going to play an important roll in the way of the world... best I can figure

I hope they don't pull something like that like the way they did with Yu Yu Hakusho (maybe it was supposed to be like that, but I don't remember it being hinted towards at all); Though seriously it probably has something to do with something that isn't revealed in the plot yet, but the Will of "D" probably links all of the people with "D" in their names to some special destiny or something like that

Probably it is something to do with the void century and history of the world government.

Hmm... going with this theory, it could be some age-old conspiracy by the world government to prevent some ancient race of D-people ...

I have to go with D for destiny. It seams that all those with the will of D end up making choices that effect a large amount of people. Either for better or worse is still up to question.

lolz...i dont think the "D" had a meaning like destiny or anything that goes with it..it just an initial to a clan or to a group of people..

Ya i agree with u. I am thinking World Government might have killed some people in the past like they did with Oohara (Robin's homeland) and so people with D in their names might be descendents of those who might have survived or perhaps these D people think and act like the one's who died.
