Could someone tell me how to turn off the subtitles when using this program with an anime. i went to the subtitle tab and put the mode to disable but it still shows up i tried reducing the scale the position outline and blur to the lowest and it still shows up. Is there anyway to stop them from appearing or encode the anime so you get the option to turn subtitles off.

Use MKV Merge GUI and the origina file. Add the compressed file. Then add the original file. Remove the checkbox from the second video and audio stream. Then click Start Muxing. You might have to change the destination directory or filename.

so this is to make it dual audio? and for subs? i dnt have any xternal subs.. the 250 Mb already has subs so how do i use those will me using MKV merge do both the subs n the audio?? sry for so many questions i jst wana do it rite n no it well.. :P

If you don't remove the checkboxes on the subs for the original file, they will be merged with the compressed video with the audio.

cud u gimme the link to mkvmerge gui.. i cudnt get it.. i searched sum other guides for it but their links r all broken..

I seem to have audio that cuts out after about a minute tried re-encoding to times but still the same.

Hrm I gave it a go, and besides being unable to get the subtitles, the first Half was fine, however the second half had no audio.

Anyhow I think I figured out the audio problem, so if someone could tell me how I get the subtitles to come out with this, it would be very helpful.

Alright, well I have been playing around with the program recommendations, and finally found something that I think I'm comfortable with. Will test it out Tues or Wed.

Was hoping that this program had something for subtitles, which would have been very convenient.

Ok guys, me wants to try this out but wants a few answers first:

1, Will it work on a x32 bit OS? Are there any good versions of it that are compatible?

2, For those of you who know about minicoder, compared to mediacoder which is better/effective to use?
