Both will give you same quality now as media coder has also updated it's software. The thing is in mediacoder you need to find the correct settings to get a good quality encode whereas in minicoder you don't have to. It's doesn't have too many settings to go through............but in mediacoder as far as I know you can't get subtitles done : P
