Yeah everything was fine it just decided to do it I found out it was a common Win7 Problem via the Windows forum, it was also a problem on vista but they created a patch for it but they havent created one for win7.

Shows how much attention i pay to the W7 forums lol. At least you got it fixed. Biggest let down for me was not being able to play Bioshock. It's about luck if it works on windows 7 64bit really. Works for my brother but not for me.

I only visited the forum because of this problem ;P

I just recently upgraded to 7 from vista, and I have to say its much better. Btw, which version do most of you guys run. I am using this version called annihilation which has a lot of built in tweaks and hacks to allow even smoother running depending on your exact hardware specs.

i have it running on Parallels 6 and it's alright. i haven't had any problems, except for some reason it didn't want to save my settings which is fixed now. i like it more than XP but it doesn't woo me enough to make me switch to it from Snow Leopard.

i like the new layout of the windows media center. i also discovered that is has free internet streaming hd quality video. i like that alot so what i do is use my hdmi cord and have it on my hdtv and send the video straight to that so its on a much larger screen.

just be carefull about netflix they may want to charge you. they are also on the windows media center free tv too. but they have like c-w shows like small vill and glee, stuff like that cbs shows like ncis csi. and then thers show time and dexter. i have had very little evil buffer. the commericals are only about 60 long.

I am thinking of giving Windows 7 another try. I am currently downloading Windows 7 ARC Gamer Edition for my test. If I can get used to it, I may buy Windows 7 and use the Product Key from that.

Not to say you don't know what you are doing, but as someone who builds and fixes computers, I have to personally advise staying away from custom made versions of windows. I've made countless custom builds myself, so I know from experience that problems can tend to pop up later on down the road. A clean, untouched source is always the best and safest way to go.

In any event, Windows 7 is more than worth getting used to, double so for anyone that has newer hardware since Windows XP just isn't designed to take advantage of it. I started using it as a full time OS somewhere around the middle of the beta builds that were coming out at the time. That's just how well it worked even then.

It doesn't take much time to get used to it, but it is a leap if you never really used vista and are jumping over straight from XP.
