Honestly this topic doesn't really need to exist. There are very few people who watch this show subbed. Probably less than the people who participate in the One Piece ongoing Manga Discusssion. One of Baby Naruto's advertising-bull threads, that nobody cares about, is more productive than this one (cuz of eventual funnies).

To lazy to make a fansub grouping list, maybe someone else will. Good luck.

Anyway, I just finished with episode 488! I must say so far this arc was good, but kind of left me disappointed. The idea was great, bring all best fighters to one place, but the outcome wasn't that great at all. The Warlords just kind of disappear at the end!!!!

I really think that Ace dying in the midst of the War between the Whitebeard Pirates and the Marines was a very good way to do it actually. For one it showed Luffy how insignificant his power really was in the New World and that he really needs to increase his power in order to protect his friends and the people he cares about later on. Also you have to remember that the crew is now seperated and are very far away from each other, so Ace dying also ends up making Luffy and his whole crew meet up later on after getting some training in and to become stronger (or they probably wouldn't make it very far)

I was so pissed when Ace died. It seemed like the right thing for him to do was just keep running. Who cares if Aikanu said that Whitebeard was a loser. Just leave, regroup and come back and kick his ass.

I really tried to be pissed at Ace for doing what he did, but once you get through the backstory with Luffy and Ace growing up I thought they did a great job at showing you just why Ace did what he did. Tough to fault him in the end.

The discrepancy between the powers of the New World and the beginning of the Grand Line really appeared during this war. Luffy is the toughest guy on his crew yet he really had no business on this battlefield. It was really a change from Luffy being able to go right after the top guy. Since reaching the redline Luffy has yet to win a fight. I can't wait until he powers up again so that he will be a formidable player in the New World.

And I want to see more Shanks. I want to see some serious fights with that guy and his crew. It would be greatness.
