I am fully caught up with the Funimation Dub and the Manga (in japanese)
I have also held off watching the One Piece anime (in japanese) for about 30 episodes, so I could watch them all off later on (and I'm about to start that back up with the 2 year time-skip arc coming up soon) _________________

both are good but i already late about 100+ episodes..because the anime is too time consuming..the last time i watch was on the water 7 arc...now i just read the manga every week...need 2 find lots of free time to watch everything all over again..

Going to Enies Lobby, And from what i have seen One Piece gets better Exponentially :D

Just started watching this series this week while doing some encodes and got up to episode 53. Gotta say I'm really liking this series so far, doesn't have as much garbage filler like Naruto and Bleach

Lol about fillers one piece has around 46 filler episode... total.. bleach has more than 100, naruto i dunno but it has been said that it is an even worse case... :D
I'm at where luffy meets Garp now EPIC  Damn, oh and Mavrik the first 53 episodes were great but i swear i couldn't imagine this anime would be this good ( I always thought the legendary CP9 arc was over exaggerated.. well the fuck it's not :D) One more note: I'm glad i've given in to subs Oh and guys there is a thread talking about the subs, why don't we talk there? _________________ |

zolo you were right, it's too good an anime to wait for dubs, and honestly the jap voices are great, but i wanted to ask, what in the manga was not animated?

Mostly miniarcs, which were cover pictures of each weekly release that linked together to tell a side story (on the onepiecewiki you can just read the info the miniarcs give).

I've been keeping up with the manga more than the anime. I'm in the 600th chapters (where everyone gathers after two years of training and meet once again at Shakki's bar).
The last anime that I recently watched was episode was where Shanks showed up to finish the 'war' going on at marine headquarters after Luffy left with the "Dark Doctor" (I won't say his name if you haven't read that far in the manga or seen the anime episode yet. But if you have you should know who I'm talking about) in his submaraine. I had also chosen him as my avatar  I had stopped watching the dubbed anime since cartoon network took it off of the station. But the last episode I seen dubbed was before Luffy fought with Crocodile. |
