Gate Keepers.

This was an ok anime but it was kinda....korny. I mean the romance wasn't the best, the bad guys in this show were just really cartoonist, and the plot really didn't make any sense. I mean from what it seemed to me, people apparently just were the bad guys and turned when called.

Anyway the show at least had some ok fights of mecha's and gate power with some comedy mixed in. But the episodes started getting old fast. Never did watch the second 1.

5.5 I really wouldn't watch it if I had hindsight.

Trigun

Trigun takes place on the planet called Gunsmoke. Your main character is Vash the Stampede; also know as the 60 billion double dollars man. Which attracts every bounty hunter to him. But in spite of that he is a very goofy gunman who loves donuts.

It’s a funny and entertaining anime. It contains good amount of action, adventure, and comedy. It's an enjoyable anime as you watch the past and the present of Vash unrevel. I would recommend anyone to watch it. I give it a 8/10.

Black Lagoon.

From start to finish this kept me entertained. It's about a guy who really has no life to begin with and then he's just in the wrong place at the wrong time. He sees the world for what it really is down to the last ugly bit.

This anime has fantastic gun fights, sea fights, all in the course of this pirate transport companies daily jobs. But not only that, it shows the cold ugly truth behind how the world works from the good to the parts that your mind can only try and turn away from to keep itself sane.

9.5 I only hope they come out with a 3rd season.

D N Angel

This was an alright anime. Kinda took a bit of thought trying to understand exactly what the purpose of the angels was and why the white angel seemed to be evil, but it had an interesting plot to it, a bunch of comedy, and some light romance. Not to much fighting though except small bits here and there.

The anime is about a boy who is trained since childhood to be a master thief. When the boy turns 16, as his family line is destined, he becomes the legendary phantom thief Dark. Using his power, he goes out each night, stealing priceless items that contain spiritual powers.

I had to read the wiki to fully understand the end. A fun watch. 8.2

R.O.D the TV

I can't believe this wasn't on the list. This is probably the first anime i have watched since pokemon, yu-gi-oh, and dbz.

I have only seen the first 5 episodes of the anime, but it has a great story, its about these 3 paper masters that are sisters. 2 of them love to read and the other 1 does not.

Air

This was a good anime to start with. I mean it had my favorite dub actor vic for the main character. It had that slice of life feel to it, real people with real problems, had some light comedy, all the while with this plot about the main character searching for the girl with wings.

Now the story was kinda confusing as you were trying to put everything together they kept throwing at you. And it builds up... then BAM ur just hit, ur trying to makie sense out of wth turn the plot just took, then.. BAM BAM the freaking ending goes down for the count without any clue as to what the hell the past episodes were for.

So I gotta give this a 7.2 It was great starting out, but I have no idea what to make of it's ending.

I guess i'll go ahead and recommend one...

Mushishi: Although not an anime for everyone, it's a great series that at least deserves some attention. complete with beautiful animation and very well told standalone stories as well as an interesting concept (and concepts) , I'd say it's one fine package of an anime ^^ it's one of those animes where every episode leaves a fresh sense (at least in my opinion)

UFO Ultramaiden Valkyrie

This anime was just ok. I mean the story didn't really go anywhere besides this girl living with this guy she ran down with her ship at his bathhouse, and what seemed like all of her crazy relatives dropping by at all times of the day. Though some parts of the story were so 1 in a million shot, or completly bizzare, you really didn't know what to make of it.

Plus it never really ended. It just stopped. Next up was the loli perspective. The guy having eyes for this what looked a 6 year old girl was kinda sick even if it was meant in a romantic way. And the transformation of a naked 6 year old didn't help either. On top of that, the transformations get old, really damn fast, but they just never stop.

It was ok for characters wise. Had some interesting parts where different things were happening in the 2nd season, and some nice humor, but that was about it. 6.0

I forgot to post this anime. Probably cause it was so hard a watch.

Photon. Now reading the reviews it said from the makers of tenchi muyo, a great hilarious anime. I was all psyched, ok lets watch, its only 6 episodes...... my god, what a mistake.

I watched this in both sub and dub. Neither was a comfort to my ears. I shit you not, the dude who did the dub had to have been mentally retarded with down syndrome or something. Im not knocking those people but I swear this is what the dub voice sounded like. Only more pathetic and aggravating for the main character.

And it didn't change in the sub. It just sounded like they took a 6 year old helium voiced migit like mini me and had him say the same stuff, just as idiotic sounding.

Anyway getting beyond that hell on your ears, the story really made no sense, except this 8 year old kid? He looks more like hes 3, is somehow stronger then Goliath from fable and is charged to protect some annoying sounding girl that acts like a elementary school girl and has this annoying high pitched voice in the sub and dub. He runs into some space pirate (the only voice that sounds half way good in the dub, forget the sub) and becomes her husband.

Now onto another negative. The drawling. The main character looks like it was drawn by a 10 month old. The sound affects, the landscape, it just sounds and looks so freaking idiotic. I mean shin chan is better drawn. Pokemon has better sound and artwork then this.

Trust me when I say this was a painfull watch. I can't even give it a 1 because that might say to some poor bastard that this has a hope in hell of being interesting. I feel I have to save people from watching it lol.

So I give this a 0.

It's on you tube still probably if you want to punish yourself. It doesn't even justify itself by wasting the bandwidth of downloading.

Tengou Tenge

Well this started out pretty good. It was a fight anime through and through with some really bloody fight scenes. Their was some romance thrown in... and then the drama hit.

Now drama's ok but they did it in the form of a story flashback. And you think naruto flashbacks are bad, these things spanned episodes. I think 1/3rd of the series is a story flashback. Maybe more.

Anyway that aside this is about a kid who is a reg streetfighter comes to a school that is founded on teaching martial arts. Gets his ass kicked then strived to become stronger. All the while having this thing inside him that everyone seems to fear and hate even though it's good. It never really ends though. It sorta has an inuyasha ending which as you all know really blows.

All things considered, 6.5

Itsudatte My Santa!

This was sort of like a romance anime. Though it was really kinda.... weird.

So basically it's about this kid who was born on dec 24th and named santa (ya I know cruel joke right?) and so he basically hates the holiday because no ones ever around to even share it with.

Then a crazy girl who (can you believe it) is santa comes to cheer him up. And apparently spend the eve with him since she fell in love with him at some point they never tell about.

It's only 2 episodes long, though they gave a preview for a 3rd episode but I don't know must of never made any more. The voices really weren't that bad in the dub either but the ho ho ho thing just sounded so messed up.

It's an eh watch if your bored and just want to check it out. I mean it's only 2 episodes long. 5.0

For a starting anime something cool like Code Geauss or FMA.

Yumeria

It took me awhile to watch it mainly cause I dropped the show then got bored and decided to watch the rest.

It was so so. I mean the plot wasn't anything grand. In fact it was almost like gatekeepers, except better graphics and a somewhat better plot with acting.

Basically its about a perverted kid who lost his parents early on and was raised by a girl not much older then him, and then he starts meeting chicks in this dream world and pulling em back into his world.

The ending was kinda odd though. I mean it's almost like reality was bent and changed for really no reason at all.

And 2 characters are just really annyoing. I mean one says nothing but mone when she talks. Mone money mone monneyyyyy over and over again.

And this other girl is constantly saying really it is really it is really it is really it is, it is, really it is. Or something and then really it is or it is really. I mean damn how lazy can a writer be.
