One thing that's been going round my brain for the last few chapters too is who are the other 4 'war potential' fighters that Buckbeard spoke of? We know Ichigo is one of them, I doubt the others are in the battle at the moment so maybe Aizen, Isshin, Ryuuken and Yamamoto?

Ichigo this time. The Stern Ritter do have some strange names if i do say. So there
were some others revealed not seen last week. I think the battles will go on a while
before the royal guard appear.

Yeah, the Quincy do have some weird names...like the Tousen-looking guy "Nanananajahkoop" or something (I'm not even gonna try to pronounce that).
also I couldn't help but lol at the luchador Quincy at the end. Despite the situation, I just can't take that guy seriously at the moment

So far the most dangerous one appears to be the Quincy with the spiky mask "As Nodt"

That's.... completely new to me. That aside, this little fight will be entertaining to see. I'm just wondering how that match-up between that bubblegum quincy and Sajin will go down. It's really (physically) one-sided but doesn't look like it'll be easy.

Thanks for sharing. Some of those are new to me. Yet it doesn't specify whether we'll be seeing the new Bankai's in this current fight or some time later in the arc, which was the focus of my post.

I'd say #6, 11 & 13 have a very good chance of happening for this fight. At least for Renji. 11 is a long shot, but since these guys are straight up slaughtering everyone, it might just be enough to make her fight and since these guys specifically pissed off Yama, Shinsui might get right down to it rather than goof around like with Stark.

Secret #14 - This one was revealed in the novel Spirits Are Forever With You Vol I & II. It explains that Aizen didn't want to fight 2 people before gaining immortal status, Yamamoto and Kenpachi, so he lured Kenpachi and the others to Hueco Mundo and built Wonderweiss for Yamamoto.

Zaraki's true power: He automatically adjusts his reiatsu to match his opponents no matter who he's fighting.

Secret #15 - The noble houses of Soul Society: So far we've had Kuchiki, Shiba, Shihoin and the final one has been revealed as Hikifune - former Squad 12 Captain and current Royal Guard member.

Secret #16 - 8th Kenpachi: His names Azashirou, he got imprisoned by the Royal Guard and he broke out of the same underground prison as Aizen but got beat by the current Kenpachi. While they were fighting nobody in Soul Society could sense their reiatsu meaning they were at a trancendant level. The escape happened during the 17 month time skip.

Kuruyashiki - 7th Kenpachi - Extremely powerfull, his Bankai is forbidden inside Sereitei because it destroys everything in a radius several times bigger than KKT and can only be used once every 6 months. Killed by Azashirou's Living Body Fusion technique.
Azashirou - 8th Kenpachi - Another powerfull captain, Bankai and Shikai relate to Fusion/Merging spaces. His Bankai covers all of Sereitei and allows him to hear everyone, create a blade out of thin air to strike down the opponent with no motion when his opponent does Shikai. Living Body Fusion technique can harm himself but by opposing his enemy he can destroy their inner body. Surrendered to Royal Guard.
His Vice Captain promoted to Captain - 9th Kenpachi - Killed by 10th Kenpachi
Kiganjo - 10th Kenpachi - Killed by Kenpachi Zaraki, (11th Kenpachi).

Possible spoiler - Bodies in Szayels lab revealed: One is named Cien (Spanish for 100), Szayel Apporo's backup that can aquire information and surpass Yammi in power. 100 tatooed on whites of eyeballs and later dies to Kenpachi. So the revived Szayel who came out of Nemu is a fraud while Cien was actually a backup.

Wow... So much to the Kenpachi's. That's a hell of a true power btw.

all that stuff about the Kenpachi is pretty awesome. So it basically means that Zaraki doesn't necessarily possess more power than anyone else, but rather that he becomes stronger to match the person he's fighting? Interesting.

Can't wait to see how much of this info is played out in the manga.

I actually think Zaraki is one of the war potentials old Buckbeard was talking about now, in the fight he had with the 8th Kenpachi he was just absorbing level 90 kidou's and finished him off with his kendo.

No wonder Aizen didn't want to fight Zaraki before he attained immortal status.
