Okay, so Kira & some of his squad take the 1st hits. Is it natural for some new characters to appear, just to be canon fodder that go down fast to show how lethal the enemies are? Just saying. So we see a female Quincy amongst the crowd of attackers. I could've sworn there were 2. And we're cutting back to what's happening on Ichigo's end. I doubt he & everyone else are faring better.

Well.... Shit. That was bad. I mean, it was bad when Aizen took down all the Captains, but this is just damn. I actually fear that this won't be a simple "one enemy for each captain" thing, but more like a "worst day on the job" scenario.

And the carnage continues. It was brutal the way Kira was taken out. It makes you wonder who will be next.

There are at least 2 females with the hooded one being ambiguous to what gender they are. All in all a very good chapter.

Over 1000 deaths? That's kind of exaggerated.

1000 deaths = Those 3 seaters (maaaaybe) and some Red Shirt Shinigami's.

Yeah, 90% of the people killed were most likely your average, nameless, non-seated soul reaper.
From the level of carnage I'm seeing so far, and considering how fast the Stern Ritter are slaughtering people before they even get a chance to breathe, it assume the majority of the 13 squads will likely be wiped out within an hour or so.

Makes sense I suppose, because for the Quincy this isn't just a war, it's an extermination. They probably want the soul reapers to experience the same fear they did in the past.

I won't try to guess who (if any) of the main C/L's will truly die, but i'm hoping some like the 11th squad (and Unohana) will put aside that front and take this situation serious. I also hope TK doesn't cheaply put out anyone else without a struggle.

Maybe its time for the mysterious "Royal Guard" of the "Spirit King" to step in?

So Rose is up against some one of the Sternritter who looks a bit like Tousen and is set to avenge Kira and the rest of Squad 3. Also it seems the Sternritter have a ranking system like the Arrancar had except using letters. Wouldn't mind knowing the ranking of the rest of the Sternritter.

I hope we'll be seeing a few new Bankai's with these fights, which should probably culminate with Yamamoto facing the Quincy king.

If the Sternritter are ranked by letters, then it's likely than anything within range of 'A' has gotta be real dangerous. Probably. And seriously, the Quincy King is just reminding me too much of Zangetsu. If Bankais have to go off to take down these Quincies, then so be it.
