i feel like the part where kenpachi attacks the main bad guy was just an excuse to show how badass he is and next chapter he will be completely unharmed.atleast yamamoto is in the fight...and i want to know if byakuya is dead dead

Why is whitey so special? It looked like Zaraki was aiming for whitey and Buck Beard protected him.

To me it seemed he was aiming directly at Buckbeard because as we all know Kenpachi being Kenpachi usually has his sights set on fighting the strongest which in this case is Buckbeard.

Blondie was given the job to distact Ichigo when he came through the Garganta into Sereitei. If Kenpachi were to kill Blondie instead of Buckbeard that would throw a wrench in the Stern Ritters plans by letting Ichigo roam free when he arrives.

What are you talking about? He was clearly aiming at Buckbeard. He explicitly stated "I have no interest in you, white beanpole", referred to blondie.

I take it back. Looking at the panel where he's shouting about "killing you", I can see BB's hair. The page was so black I thought it was apart of Kenpachi. >_<

Edit: After reading this on MS, they mention The Question being a male which now makes sense (as it was weird to see Zaraki kill a women so viciously) and mildly confuses me as to how MP could make that mistake.... And miss a whole page.

This week's chapter is up. We got some backstory on Old Man Yama & Sasukibe, as well as seeing the latter's Bankai training, what it does, & whatnot. And of course, the Head Captain practically shutting up the Quincy who stole Sasukibe's Banaki.

It was a nice chapter. I'm also pretty certain the Overkill won't be back next week.

Unless Quincies can somehow recover from having their head and chest incinerated down to the bone, I think Overkill is down for the count. XD
Honestly though, this chapter made me kinda pissed off. All the background info on Chojiro was pretty cool, but then it makes me wonder why the hell Kubo never did anything at all with this character until AFTER he dies. Such a waste.

Lol, anyone compared that flop mangapanda scanlation to mangastreams? Mangastreams make much more sense and show much more detail. If Chojiro hadn't used his Bankai in over 200 years Ukitake and Kyouraku, not to mention Yamamoto would allready be Captains, they mess the storyline up badly with failed translations. It's not difficult telling 200 and 2000 apart.

In the anime they showed his powers in a filler arc (Zanpakutou arc) but as everyone thinks that fillers are crap and not canon nobody tends to watch them besides a certain few. It's not the whole thing but it's a hint at his Shikai and Bankai. God I hate dubbed but it's all I could find of it.

how did they know his shikai and bankai power before they show it in the manga

I was wondering why they decided to reveal the power of Chojiro's zanpaktou in that filler...I guess maybe Kubo gave them a sneak peek to work with or something?

Indeed, Manga panda is a joke. Whether it be Bleach or whatever else I've been reading, the scans they make rarely ever make sense, or like in recent cases, they have a tenancy to skip entire pages; sometimes they just scan a couple pages of a chapter and leave it that way for who knows how long, which is stupid.
I'm just glad Manga stream decided to do scans of Jump again, because I've yet to see another group that does as good a job as they do.

My imagining.....

Staff: *pokes head in office* Hey TK, we're gonna do this arc where the Zanpakuto's come to life, but we don't know what Chojiro's does.

TK: *turns around with pinky in nose* Hm?..... I don't know.... give it lightning or some shit....

Anyway, it's just too bad that arc didn't give Chojiro the respect he apparently deserved by making it look weak in comparison to the manga.

Kubo revealed in an interview he'd planned this arc for the last 5 years, this is most likely why nobody died during the Arrancar fights. The climax will most likely end up with Souken Ishida's dream of some sort of peace between 2 parties - Shinigami and Quincy or Shinigami and Hollow.





Same, sometimes I feel like going on their twitter and posting mangastream appreciation day because mangapanda can't translate!! lol, I'm not fluent in Japenese but even I don't make that many mistakes when translating from the raws on mangahead.
