I just HAVE to rant about this. Episode 40 of Shippuden is the most dragged out episode of ANY television show EVER!!!

Here's a summary:

Naruto's Nine Tails cloak comes out and him and Orochimaru have a staring contest.

For the WHOLE episode! I was just amazed by how ridiculous it was! They switched between Naruto's face, to Orochimaru's face, to Yamato's face, to Kabuto's face, to Sai's face, to Sakura's face, and then all over again 100 times and the episode was over.

They put a flashback in, and some tiny details near the beginning, but nothing important, and it was very short. This has got to be the worst episode of anime I have ever watched, and it's my favorite series.

Get use to it. The pacing for Shippuuden is mostly like that for a long time to come.

Yeah.. But you forgot the wind. There was a lot of wind too.

And the pace of the story does not get faster till (I think) the time... OOPS :\

Do yourself a favor and read the manga.

There are some people who don't like reading.. Or rather are too lazy to read, so they watch the animated counterparts.. It's the same case with many books, and movies based on them. Like Harry Potter for example.. Some people haven't read the book and neither do they plan to, they just watch the movies.

The Harry Potter Books are way better than the Movies imo.

I agree dude.. But I have to say, the first two movies directed by Chris Columbus were the best in the franchise.. The new director sucks..
